Dual Flash LS1 PCM's





What is a "Dual Flash" PCM ?

It is effectively a single PCM with 2 Flash Chips installed , allowing the user to switch between the 2 tunes loaded onto the Flash Chips.










Why "Dual Flash" ?

Having a "Dual Flash" PCM allows you the user to easily flick between 2 tunes without the need for them to own the expensive tuning software or even the need to carry round a laptop. 

Uses for "Dual Flash"

  • Street Tune vs Race Tune
  • Soft shifting Auto vs Hard Shifting Auto tunes
  • Different tunes for Different Fuels - E10 vs Premium or Premium vs E85 etc...
  • Tunes from 2 different Tuners
  • Turbo applications - Low Boost vs High Boost allowing you to have 2 full tunes on each boost level instead of hoping that the one tune can cover both levels
  • Cant always get premium fuel for your car - have the 2nd tune set for poor quality tune as a safe alternative

Tuning Tools on a "Dual Flash"

Any tuning tool that can program a LS1 PCM can also program a "Dual FLash" capable PCM. All that needs to be done first is make sure the switch is in the correct position for the Flash chip that you desire to program. Some common software that is used - HP Tuners, TIS, EFI Live, LS1 Edit.

How do you get "Dual Flash"?

We can supply either a LS1 PCM fitted with the "Dual Flash" board outright with 2 standard tunes in the flash chips or we can fit the "Dual Flash" board to your PCM and transfer the tune in your Flash chip into one of the new chips fitted to your PCM. Other sevices can be carried out on the tunes , please enquire within.
